Discussion: Taking backfill defining walls and drawing the north wall facing the shrine 27. We took out huge amounts of soil in this area which is from the 1960s and 1995. I think there are three spaces in this area. Mellaart called them 26a 26b and shrine 27. 

 

Recognition: Mellaart backfill from 1960s 

Definition: boundary indentified by walls. They are clear light medium brickwork and dark grey brickwork up to topsoil 

Execution: Mattack and hoe 

Condition: Dry and hot
