Unit 10733
Category: layer dug in 2004
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: midden layer (arbitrary)
Data Category Information: Location: external; Deposition: finely bedded
Dimensions: 300cm x 34cm and 260cm x 30cm
Discussion: This midden layer differes from the one above it (10732) by the color (which is dark brown instead of grey black), inclusions (it has fewer inclusions of plaster, charcoal, etc) and composition (layer consists of more clay than the unit above). Like 10732, this unit was left over from the clearing of space 229 because it was underneath F1604 and F1606. It is therefore the same as adjacent midden layers 11024 and 10721. The layers of this unit consist of clay layers inbetween mixed layers of a few layers of charcoal/ash. This unit is more homogeneous than 10732.
