Discussion: ashy/plaster layer within FI 11, more extensive than 1117 and layered (plaster - discontinuous - on ash). Possibly three distinct deposits - see 1129

Colour: 10YR 2/1 (black) under thin spread of off-white plaster 10YR 7/1 

Texture: silt loam 

Bedding: layered - plaster on charcoal/ash 

Inclusions: discontinuous thin plaster spread on top of layer 25%; occasional discrete charcoal frags 2%, <5mm 

Post-depositional Features: frequent fine roots 

Basal Boundary: smooth, sharp
