Discussion: As we were excavating, we noticed a difference between the soil at the south end of the unit which had a colour difference and was very slightly more compact. We now think that the northern part is probably part of unit (11386) so we stopped excavating. The finds from (11385) might actually be part of unit (11386), for example x1, due to the unit boundary changing.

Colour: dark brown to yellow brown 

Texture: silt 

Bedding: massive
