Unit 11716
Category: Layer dug in 2005
Area: TP
Interpretive Categories: wall plaster
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: wall/blocking; Material: plaster; Deposition: homogeneous
Discussion: This is a plaster of partition wall (unit 11715) that sits on the Neolithic floor recorded as units 11724 and 11743. At the moment of excavation, it is probably related to the first phase of the floor use (unit 11724). This stratigraphic relations is to be clarified later. The plaster on the west side of the wall (unit 11715) is c. 3 cm thick and is suprisingly dark as compared with most of the plasters at tis site, which are light grey and whitish. The plaster is not layered which indicates it was placed on the wall at any one moment.
