Unit 11740
Category: Layer dug in 2005
Area: TP
Interpretive Categories: infill
Data Category Information: Deposition: heterogeneous
Dimensions: 1.40 x 0.50 x 0,09
Discussion: It is a second level of an infill of the space 248. The level above was excavated as unit 10986 and the exploration was finished when all the human bones exposed in this unit were lifted. The infill underneath was defined as unit 11740.
There were some fragments of plaster (unit 11769) recorded in the top of this infill in the SE corner of space 248. They could have come from destroyed layer of plaster. Underneath, there was a small layer of 11740 and then a hard layer interpreted as a neolithic floor (11770). In this part 11740 was present as a tiny layer.
The layer cosisted of small pieces of rubble - in contrast to layer 11751 (to the N from 11740) which consisted of big pieces of rubble.
Recognition: the layer on whic bones in space 248 were placed - the layer after lfting the bones is infill 11740
