Discussion: This is an infill of a pit in north - east corner of an extension. The cut of this pit was recorded as unit 11773 and is very irregular. It was dug in between the walls and filled with rubble from collapsed structures araound. The basal boundary was formed by a layer of plasters - possibly also collapsed. This pit was dug by some later pits - one from northern side (pit infill 11527) and two from eastern side - one of which was a Byzantine burial.
