Discussion: This is a layer at the level of cluster of human and animal bones recorded as unit 12240. This appear to be an infill of earlier phase of space 248 demarkated by walls from the west (unit 11792) and the east (unit 12241). Size of this space is impossible to define due to truncation of its supposed southern part by big cut of Byzantine burial/

Colour: light grey 

Texture: silty sand
