Discussion: Rather mixed layer with patches of localised burnt material - not that distinct from layer below except it is less hard / compacted numerous animal burrow made it very difficult to identify what may be different dumping / collapse episodes though overall this is what (1288) represents- room fill/ collapse.

Colour: 2.5 YR 5/8 Red (in the more burnt localized area shaded on sketch plan) ; 7.5 YR 5/6 Strong brown (main deposit)

Inclusions: Charcoal 2% <1 cm; Burnt mud brick 2% <1 cm 

Post-depositional Features: Roots & animal burrow 5% 

Basal Boundary: Diffuse, distinct, wavy, flat, sharp <5 mm
