Discussion: This is a fragment of mudbrick wall belonging to one of the latest episodes of the mound occupation. It is of N-S alignment and used to close Building 62 for occupation level directly underneath, from the east. The wall is placed directly on a very homogeneous midden and hence it belongs to occupation sequence it this part of the mound that post-dates the formation of the large midden layer. The preserved fragment of wall is composed of two courses of bricks with a solid and relatively thick mortar. Lower course is placed directly on the midden. The wall is slightly truncated from the east by large Hellenic pit. The dimensions of the bricks are as follows: upper course as the from the south to the north: 0.74 x 0.36 x 0.06-0.07; 0.60 x 0.36 x 0.06-0.07 length incomplete; lower course: 0.68 x 0.36 x 0.09 and 0.68 x 0.36 x 0.09 m. The height of the mortar varies between 2 and 5 cm.
