Discussion: Packing layer on main floor of space 227 = F2129. Extends across entire floor (SE corner of F2129 not excavated in 2006). Abutts all platforms associated with main floor of space 227 but does not extend onto any.
Seems to have been a significant levelling episode across main floor although no obvious depth difference across layer.
Unit 13230 dips down into Feature 2251.
Made of mixed deposits of clay-silt. Seems quite compacted. Beneath a greasy deposit- 13229 - a possible occupation surface.
Unit produced some pot and obsidian as well as a possible animal figurine at the far North of Sp 227 under the (stratigraphically later) 'slump' of wall F1564 and just at the top of F2251.
