Unit 14614
Category: Layer dug in 2007
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: building infill in bin
Data Category Information: Location: feature; Description: bin; Deposition: homogeneous; Basal Spit: basal deposit
Discussion: Infill of bins (F. 2385) was a single layer (likely to have been at the same time as when the building (59) was back filled, as that the only reason the fill was left in the bins from the previous season was because they were delicate), bricky with frequent charcoal and plaster bits. There were lots of big plaster chunks in the infill, likely to have been the walls of the bins that were knocked in when the bin to the north was truncated when the post was retrieved as that there were no wall bits in the southern bin.
