Discussion: The fill of the scoop/pit [14636] was very interesting. The top was plastered over by (14634), which had mostly been scoured out, and also plastered over by (14622). The fill of the scoop looked as though they had cut it, and filled it with the floors they had cut as that there were floor layers, but they were patchy and at irregular angles. The cuts sides were very clear and easy to follow. As the base of the pit/scoop neared there were no longer any layers, just the usual sterile fill. The layer was was incredibly sterile, however the finds were quite nice. A largish obsidian point (X1) and a very small white bead (X2). The base of the pit/scoop came onto irregular red clay.
