Dimensions: 1.46m x 2.10m x (0.04-0.08m) 

Discussion: Fine layers of ashy debris, intervened with clean to mixed clayey lenses/ fine layers. Falls on a gradual incline from north-east to Southwest. Contains moderate amount of coprolite in discrete, thin layers (almost flattened).The layers are fairly distinct and represent single depositions- lensing not at edges, but accumulating maybe quite rapidly as there is no surface compaction that would arise if exposed for long. Appears to be midden deposits.

Condition: hot and dry 

Consistency: moderately firm 

Colour: varies, 10YR 5/1-5/2 (grey to light brownish grey) 

Texture: clayey silt 

Bedding: layered- ashy lenses, charcoal rich, clayey layer; occasional grey clay lenses and ash lenses. 

Inclusions: 30% charcoal frags and flecks (1mm-1cm); 10% chalk flecks; 10% plaster frags. <1cm; 20% phytoliths 

Post-depositional Features: bioturbation from animal burrows 

Basal Boundary: fairly distinct, wavey sedimentological boundary
