Discussion: This is a midden layer located between walls recorded as units 15218, 13088, 13089, 13093. It was placed underneath an infill layer (u. 15216). This is the same midden as unit 13570 located to the W and also as unit 15220 and 15222 placed underneath this midden (u. 15217). The unit was relatively homogeneous and shared some chcracteristics with the upper infill (u. 15216). A difference in colour of the deposit was recorded in the central part which due to the increasing eminency was given a separate unit numebr (u. 15221) after the midden [(u. 15217) had been excavated. Among the relatively numerous inclusions there were 4 worked stones and one polished sheep goat astragalus.
