Discussion: This unit could be interpreted as the earliest floor found in the NE corner of T5 so far, having been replaced at a later date by the U.15170 and the layers underneath. This floor is made up by a dark orangey-yellow plaster (with numerous disturbances) , which fades away gradually towards the southern edge of the floor, becoming a dark greyish brown sandy silt. Although the eastern edge of the floor is too disturbed to allow us to determine whether it continues into the baulk and westwards under U.15194. With regards to how the floor was constructed, after looking at it in section, it could be argued that a layer fo rubble (e.g. chunks of red and white plaster) was first laid down, followed by a thick first layer of dark orangey-yellow plaster, which was probably repaired at a later date by adding a second layer of the same material (see F.3330 for relations). In terms of elevations it is interesting to mention that the floor slopes down considerably towards ist western side (probably due to post-Chalcolithic movements in the soil). About 30cm away from the limit of the unit on ist western side, however, the floor raises approximately 7cm, forming a step, which mad be just the result of the weathering of the layers of which it was made up.
U 15341 was neither fully exposed (western part missing) nor removed as of the end of the 2010 season.
