Discussion: Plaster layer from collapse section of wall (16421) that had fallen into space 336. Plaster layer was lumpy and irregular and seemed to be massive (at least there were no visible layers). There may have been a moulding on the plaster, which would explain its lumpiness.

Condition: so hot 

Consistency: firm 

Colour: greyish white with black and white flecking 

Texture: silty 

Bedding: massive or layered - no clear layers, but it is plaster 

Inclusions: occasional charcoal; very occasional animal bone, shell 

Post-depositional Features: some bioturbation 

Basal Boundary: poor onto possible sandy bricks
