Unit 1650
Category: layer dug in 1996
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: ?midden
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: foundation cut; Deposition: homogeneous
Discussion: Separate deposit of almost identical material to 1584. Given a separate number because it does not join up with 1584. Basal horizon of 1584, slopes down quite sharply and peeled off a grey later below. This slope may be caused by a wall or a deposit of rubble , which lies below the grey layer on the Southern edge of space 116. This was the last deposit to be dug in this area, before an arbitrary section line was installed, running N-S. (8/9/96).
Execution: mattock and trowel
