Discussion: A layer of dumped material. More compact at the top, The layer fills the space 116 outside of feature 72. Layer is full of bricks & some mortar - demolition material. 

 

Execution: trowel 

Condition: sunny & hot 

Consistency: moderately firm - moderately weak (lower down) 

Colour: 2.5 Y 4/2 Dk greyish brown 

Texture: moderately plastic, nonsticky 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: charcoal, bone 10%, stone 2 %, clay ball 2%, obsidian 2%. Charcoal increases towards south section 

Post-depositional Features: root and animal disturbance 

Basal Boundary: basal boundary is almost flat, slightly wavy anthropogenic dumped
