Unit 16704
Category: Layer dug in 2008
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: Floor sequence
Data Category Information: Location: building; Description: general; Material: mix (dark grey&white); Deposition: composite (floors/bedding/plaster/packing/occupation)
Dimensions: 1.94m x 1.74m x 0.12m
Discussion: Remnants of plaster floors and make up levels. Heavily denuded levels but at least two plaster floors and make-up levels were seen in section between space 92 and space 94 (DM 2008)
Multilayered floors, alternating white plaster with brown plaster.
Despite the fact that they are heavily truncated by erosion (floor was very near surface), we can see clearly that they cover the entire spce 92, going up against the outer walls of it.
The fact that this floor is related (clearly) to the eastern wall of s92, which is also the western wall of s94, is a good indication for the fact that both spaces are apart of the same building b52. (Doru 02/08/05)
