Discussion: Continous depoit below wall F.2011. Deposit is thickest at west end and extends under wall F2139. Deposit appears to be a walked on accumulations deposit probably dating to when F.4059 was in use. 

 

Recognition: below part of wall F2011 comprising of 16720 and 16721 

Definition: clear 

Execution: mattock/trowel 

Condition: hot 

Consistency: firm 

Colour: dark grey to dark brownish grey 

Texture: clayey silt 

Bedding: lamninated but difficult to define laminations as just slight variations in colour/texture 

Inclusions: occasional bone, stone, obsidian 

Post-depositional Features: animal burrows 

Basal Boundary: fairly diffuse
