Discussion: Digging the area in S part of the trench uncovered by 1705 and called strat. layer #4. Loose earth, pieces of mudbrick.

Unit description: Small-medium unit, mostly scrap. Mostly sheep-size, a little hare-size, some large mammal, 1 bird bone. Fairly wide range of body parts. Fairly well preserved, little burning. A few digested bits. Two right sheep humeri, two right sheep femora; meat sharing?? RECORDED AS SHORT FORM X1 is a stylized fake red deer canine bead. Last number = 8
