Discussion: Within the wall (u. 17269), we opened u.17285 which is small filling in the wall. It consisted of sandy silt and common inclusions (pottery, bones, shell) this unit represents a piece of muudbrick of a wall (W-E) behind b.98. It is just one of the mudbricks (eastern) of the wall which has not been explored yet. 

 

Recognition: Outlined by the cracks on the top of the unit 

Definition: clear on the top 

Execution: pick, trowel, brush 

Condition: hot, sunny, under shelter 

Consistency: heterogenous 

Colour: brownish gray 

Texture: sandy silt 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: pottery, bones, shell 

Post-depositional Features: rodent pits 

Basal Boundary: flat
