Unit 17513
Category: Layer dug in 2008
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: Burnt fill
Data Category Information: Location: building; Deposition: heterogeneous
Dimensions: 0,80 m x 0,50 m x 0,05 cm
Discussion: This is like a mid layer of blackish brown clay and crushed/burnt brick between two highly burnt seed concentrated layers (16498) and (17519). While removing the highly burnt clay and brick crush the burnt peas were exposed and peas popped up. So this layer sealed the burnt peas underneath.
The little niche behind the support of ladder scar had worked bones and worked green stone, the fill here was loose and easy to remove.
