Description: burnt floor surface in the SE corner of Sp.336 around and below the ladder (entrance) 

Discussion: Floor surface in SE corner-patchy on make up layer 2 cm thick (max). Dirty dark brown floors. Burnt fragmented. Lips up onto Southern wall as well as f. 3603 (oven to Westn) and platform f. 6052 (to North). 

Recognition: Layered floor (clay)- texture/colour 

Definition: defined by South and East wall and features 

Execution: trowel excavated 

Condition: hot, still, stickey 

Consistency: firm-yet friable 

Colour: dark brown 

Texture: silty clay 

Bedding: layered 

Inclusions: occasional charcoal flecks, occasional small stones
