Discussion: Heavy mudbrick tumble in abandonment sequence of B.80, Sp. 135. Contained mostly whole (or large fragments of) clay sitl brick - in a pile forming a ridge across the centre of the room. Initially thought to cap an underlying northwest-southeast oriented wall - this turned out not to be the case upon excavation. Notably, none of the bricks (bar two) showed signs of being coursed or having mortar attached. As such, it is hard to say where this tumble came from - although, given that it seals short collapse, it Is probably fair to say that it was dumped after the house was completely abandoned.
