Discussion: Burnt infill, truncated to north by Mellaart. This is probably the original building infill as opposed to Mellaart's spoil dumped back into the building. The burnt infill and the damage to the surrounding walls shows that the NW corner had suffered badly from the fire. Towards the south the infill was less burnt but still contained a lot of bone.
