Discussion: Fill around burial 1884 defined rather arbitrarily by limit of skeletal remains rather than recognisable cut. The fill is mixed and lumpy with numerous fragments of mudbrick, plaster and burnt clay. The presence of a clay ball fragment by the skull and some daub oven lining is probably fortuitous.

Texture: silty clay loam
