Discussion: Burnt collapse within West of building 80. Inclusions of burnt stone and plaster. The layer appears associated with numerous burnt beams visible as charcoal concentrations within voids. See units [18925] and [18926].

Definition: Good 

Execution: Trowel, mattock 

Condition: Hot dry 

Consistency: Firm to loose 

Colour: Orange; brown yellowish 

Texture: Sandy, ashy with burnt brick fragments 

Bedding: Compound 

Inclusions: Charcoal, burnt brick, occ. Bone fragments 

Post-depositional Features:  

Basal Boundary: Clear, but less so to West
