Discussion: Adult skeleton lying on right side, head pointing into the centre of the room (south-east), tightly flexed, knees up to the chin, left arm going under left leg, right arm going over right leg i.e. both arms between thighs; right hand over left hand

This is a fully articulated skeleton - it could represent the earliest burial under the platform, however although there were semi articulated bodies over it such as (1938) none are as complete - it is therefore possible it was inserted last in F.38 and the others piled back over in the fill; certainly the shape of the cut defines its body (1924) very well - all in all this is probably the latest burial in fact interred in F.38
