Discussion: This layer was identified by the plaster border appearing in plan view of the built edge of F.3457 running NS investsgating with a leaf trowel seemed to imply that the plaster border slanied in toward the east. Creating a up on which this layer would lie. However the plaster was extremely thin and poony preserved as well as the silty clay immediately underneath and the basal boundary became impossible to determine leading us to stop excavating this layer at the do line in the sketch. It now seems that this make-up layer was cut by truncation to remodel the ede of the platform.

Recognition: initially clear- apparent after removing plaster surface , but disappeas to east

Definition: unclear - only survies to west

Execution: leaf trowel
