Discussion: Unit 19700 is a heterogeneous infill layer of a quite large pit located next to the western wall (F. 4090) of space 370 (B.96). It has been filled with a massive amount of plaster which probably fell down from the western wall as well as with heterogeneous ashy and greyish firm soil. Within the pit a cluster of animal bones (u.19702) has been recorded. At the bottom of the pit fragments of red ochre has been registered and removed for specialist analyses. It is possible that this unit is an infill of post retrieval pit (because of its shape, location and lack of plaster on central part of the western wall) .
