Unit 20144
Category: Layer dug in 2012
Area: TPC
Interpretive Categories: Pit infill
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: pit; Deposition: homogeneous
Dimensions: 0,88 m EW x 1,10 m NS x 0,10 m depth
Discussion: This layer was a very strange color/texture - light ashy tan and loose to friable. It was very distinct from the surrounding layers and was contained in a circular cut that was truncated on its E side by unit 20142 (thus predating it). In the S half the tan/grey soil became a more brown color at a shallower level than the N half. The section in the N part also suggests that the in fill continues N underneath the area of compact clay that demarcated the pit.
