Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: pit

 

Discussion: That is the pit infill. The feature was placed in central part of T.3 and its cuts truncated Neolithic roomfill (Space 520, 574). The infill was dark and relatively homogenous, with a small number of inclusions, in particular charcoal. In the infill there were many fragments of sherds, mosty Hellenistic in date. However, some Neolithic sherds were also registered. There were also animals bones and obsidian.

Bedding: massive

Post-depositional Features: none 

Basal Boundary: visible by different colour and consistency than the layer beneath
