Unit 21003
Category: Layer dug in 2014
Area: TPC
Interpretive Categories: pit infill
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: pit; Deposition: homogeneous
Discussion: The infill of this feature was fairly easy to remove and was distinct from the cut. There was quite a bit of charcoal in this layer and some large animal burrows were found in the bottom. Based on the circular shape and its similarity to other features in the TP area it is probably Hellenistic. The pottery found in the infill also supports this theory, although it also could be earlier in date.
