Discussion: This unit belongs to the oven which is F.8036 and located SE corner of B.17. We used the same unit number for the base and the make-up.
BASE:
This unit was recognized by colour, consistency and texture. The origin of the unit was base of oven which is related F.8036. The unit may represent fire activity surface and there was big stone on the base which is taken as X find(x1). This base was 0.02 cm thick and eroded on west part of oven F.8036. It was burned, cracked and mid grey. This base shows the last usage of the feature. The orientation of deposit is NS. After taking out this base, the oven make-up identified clearly.
MAKE-UP:
This unit was recognized by colour and texture. The origin of the unit was make-up of oven which is related repair process F.8036. This unit may represent fire activity and repair phases of fire installations of B.17. This unit is lighter(orangish brown and mid grey) than that previous deposit which is as oven base. This difference was because of the fire. The orientation of deposit is NS.
This unit was excavated by trowel.
