Description: Floating floor underneath F4060.
Discussion: Reluctantly identified as a separate unit, since the -08 dig left it floating in the corner of space 92, underneath oven F4060. The reason they did so was probably because of truncating burials (F4052 & F4053).
This unit consists of a make up layer and plaster layer, with a clear border on top, to dirty floor U22213. The border to the bottom was a little bit more vague, but still distinguishable. At the edges, the floor was clearly affected by pressure from oven F4060.
Excavated with trowel.
Consistency: Friable to firm
Colour: White clay for the plaster, yellow for make up.
Texture: Clay forplaster, silt for make up
Bedding: Layered
Inclusions: -
Post-depositional Features: Animal burrow
Basal Boundary: Constructional, smooth.
