Discussion: Cleaning o.s. 4 of NC area of Space 86 digging through dark soil with ash. Much plaster, almost horizontal, pretend floors. Dig down to possible floor (brown clay). Unit is all fill N of roof stuff and E of wall and feaure 155/156. Much of fill is ashy, finely deposited material between large lumps of wall fill. It looks as, though this stuff has been slowly deposited among falling wall.
S3 plaster ws taken foe a sample for colour (red) that we have in this part of building 3.

Unit description: A small unit with average degree of fragmentation but the bones from 07 size animals are more common than is typical. None of the bone has been digested although the occasional fragment has suffered from being burnt. 4mm flotation samples 2, 4, 6 and 7 were recorded for diagnostics only but their makeup was similar to the material that was recovered from the dry sieve.
