Description: infill of pit F.8503. 

Discussion: The layer was defined within small pit F.8503 next to oven F.8504 and was sealed by floor U.31408. This feature could have been a trace of ladder implacement. It seemed to be truncated by another pit F.7765. However, it is also possible that both of these features made up one pit which infill of was only partly excavated in 2015. 

Consistency: loose 

Colour: light red / reddish yellow 

Texture: silty sand 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: baked clay, salt accretions 

Post-depositional Features: truncation by pit F.7765 defined and excavated in 2015. 

Basal Boundary: anthropogenic, change in accumulated deposits
