Discussion: This brick was clearly later than hellenistic pit located just to the north of the wall. The bricks were square, and seemed to be the lowest row of bricks in the wall. This is because of their uneven shape, clearly with the purpose of levelling the surface for the rest of the wall. The unit was excavated using trowel and bruch. This wall could be an exposed outcrop of the same wall situated and clealy visible in the south trench wall of TPC 2. The time period is interpreted as roman due to its stratigraphical position, allignment and general look.
