Unit 30241
Category: Layer dug in 2013
Area: TPC
Interpretive Categories: infill - sp.486
Data Category Information: Location: building; Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: This is a continuation of the infill of the b. 110, sp.486. It is completely arbitrary, as we still do not achieve the bottom of that infill.
This unit consists of silty clay of different colours. We also found charcoal, phytoliths and mini plaster patches.
As the unit is a continuation of the U. 30221 on which bottom there were not any interesting features, we decided not to make any plan for this part of the infill.
During digging it appeared that the hellenistic pit (F.3935, on the SW corner of B.110) was not dug to the very end during the previous season. As we tried to divide material from that feature from the rest of the space it is possible that some later material will appear among the late neolithic material of b.110. Of course we decided to finish that pit (30243 is a unit number of that continuation).
