Unit description: Sample 2 >4mm flotation: A tiny unit with a single diagnostic (sheep/goat carpal). The largest fragment is 3cms long, but most are 1cm, therefore very fragmented. Most appear to be sheep-size frags, but one piece of probably cow sized. The bone is quite weathered and battered in appearance. About a quarter of it is burnt (black). it would seem to be mixed, rolled, redeposited material. Sample 3 >4mm flotation appears to contain no bone. The contents of the bone bag were entirely burnt clay. Last number = F11
