Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: pit; Deposition: heterogeneous

 

Discussion: It was an infill of pit located in S part of Trench 4. It contained big amount of charcoals, lenses of ash and burnt bricks. Next layer was very easy to distinguish because of colour and consistency. The infill is probably remains of some kind of fire structure. 

 

Consistency: Soft and friable 

Colour: Black, orange 

Texture: Silt 

Bedding: Compund ash, chorcoal, lose soil 

Inclusions: charcoals 

Post-depositional Features: - 

Basal Boundary: Visible by the end of burnt
