Unit 3230
Category: layer dug in 1998
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: infilling
Data Category Information: Location: building; Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: seventh arbitrary spit of infilling. This context has the dimensions of the space, roughly 235x10x90 cm. It still contained lot of collapsed building debris such as brick aggregates, plaster aggregates. As the removal of the spit adjoined toward the southern part the texture/ consistency of the soil slightly changed from soft friable to moderately compact. Density of the gritty stone particles suggests that this changes occurred due to rain wash material accumulating in this area. Since loosing part of the plaster on the wall can also be explained with this.
Recognition: 10cm spit not referring to any possible differences
Definition: by thickness
Execution: pick axe and trowel
Condition: moist
Consistency: soft, friable
Colour: 10YR 5/4 yellowish brown
Texture: silty clay, plastic, yellow and sticky

Inclusions: brick agg (>2cm amd >1-5%), plaster ( >3cm and> 5%) animal bone(>4cm and >2%)
Post-depositional Features:
Basal Boundary: not clear due to working with spit so in this case going to be sharp anthropogenic smooth boundary
