Unit 3269
Category: layer dug in 1998
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: infilling
Data Category Information: Location: building; Deposition: heterogeneous; Basal Spit: basal deposit
Discussion: Infilling at S end of space 155 (CC).
Being close to the floors or just above the floors stated that defining an excavation strategy; where comparatively in space 154 divided into the small areas, from the space 155 divided into 4 separate arbitrary areas on E/N direction. First spit is removed in the first small area which is in the SE corner of the house, was only 7 cm thick, in the same thickness the areas will be reduced down to the floors. The arbitrary spit contains very small amount of charcoal, bone in comparison to the brick and plaster aggregates which seemed like collapsed material. Apparently, S wall plaster continued down although it is not in good condition and very thin. We can conclude the description of the fill generally by saying collapsed building material.
Recognition: By judging the height, thickness of the deposit above the floor.
Definition: By thickness of the working spit.

Finds Room Information:
All material from site passes through the finds room for washing and separating before it is passed onto the various lab teams. The finds room keeps a basic inventory of what is found. A finds material type list is given here. Further analytical detail maybe provided by the Lab Team data below.
