Discussion: A layer of grouped dirty floors U.32707, which was located in SE part of the Sp.531allong the S-wall F.3679, must be regarded as the deposit whose accumulation had been mainly related with the simultaneous use of oven F.7732 (in its early phase of use - U. 32756). But the collected data allow assuming that the deposition of the dirty floors 32707 might have been also related with small fire installation F. 8327 to the north of the mentioned oven. The latter implies that the presented sequence of ash and charcoals immersed in multiple micro-laminations of silty-clay must have been repeatedly laid and accumulated there for some time.
Presented here, the eastern segment of the dirty floors composed of multiple ashy layers divided by discontinued clayish horizons of diverse thickness. In the most eastern part of the mentioned area the unit was thicker and more dense in term of the organic material. Alternatively the central and northern part of the Unit contained more clayish sediments for that reason there might be more mineral (heavy) residues than light components within the flotation samples.
The dirty floors were related most plausibly with the phase of use of the one fire-installation – oven F.7732. But the accumulation of the layer was also partially related with the use of the hearth (?) F.8327. The horizontal limit of the grouped dirty floors 32707 had been established arbitrarily on the same level as the hard-baked-base U.32746 of the mentioned hearth (?) was recognized. The maintained strategy allowed revealing an earlier occupational sequence within whom the two fire installation were in use. Their present constitute an internal furniture of the cooking area.

Within the central part of the layer 32707 there were also 2 obsidian arrowheads founded (X1 and X2). One of them (X1) was taken with associated soil (S.14) to be proceeded in further chemical analyzes.
In order to better understand and conceive the nature of the activities undertaken in the described occupational phase there was decision made to excavate the extensive layer (as well as underlying ones) by the use of the GRID. Accordingly, within the area restricted by the S-wall (F.3679) and E-wall (F.7736) as well as the Bench F.7871 (to the North) and oven (F.7732 to the West) there was set arbitrarily net of squares (1m x 1m). The main axis of the Grid was established along Southern wall (F.3679) of the building, whose EW alignment positioned the further division of the room.
The latter strategy implemented a change in the method of exploration which mainly focuses on sampling process that bears consequences in collecting two samples from each of 1m x 1m square. One of the sample is taken specifically for Phytolith analyzes. For that purpose we decided to enumerate the botanical samples using ODD digit numbers (e.g.1, 3,5, 7, 9, 11, 17, 19). All of the rest part of the explored sediment within squared meter would be taken as flotation sample, enumerated conventionally by EVEN digit number (e.g. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 18). Sample 13 refers to the routine archive one, and Sample 15 was additional sample taken due to recognition dense phytolith concentration in the E-part of the Unit.

The Southern limit of the dirty floors was established along the S-wall F.3679 of the Sp. 531.
The Northern one was mostly arbitrary set along the grid line which extended 2m from the mentioned mud-brick structure (F.3679). The latter restriction corresponded with the delineation of noticeable dirt within the excavated surface(s).
Worth underlining is the fact that western limit of the U.32707 stretched along the sloping W-edge of the raised area related with Oven F.7732. In the course of the excavation it appeared that the mentioned slope as well as the whole western part of the dirty area (until the Platform F.7880) were coated by floors U.32736, which referred stratigraphicaly to the described here counterparts to the East (U.32707). as such they must be regarded as one sequence of use of the main room of the B132. Furthermore, to the North both leyers (32707, 32736) corresponded with central floor U.32090.

Finds Room Information:

All material from site passes through the finds room for washing and separating before it is passed onto the various lab teams. The finds room keeps a basic inventory of what is found. A finds material type list is given here. Further analytical detail maybe provided by the Lab Team data below.
