Discussion: Fill of pit (3291) contains a little material derived from fire installation. But generally quite clean, probably from FI242. It is fairly distinctive and represents some form of infilling of the feature prior to the main infilling of space 154. 

Recognition: In pit with edges already defined. 

Definition: Sides of pit. 

Execution: Trowel. 

Condition: Normal. 

Consistency: moderate 

Colour: 10 YR 5/2 greyish brown 

Texture: clayey silt 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: occasional small bone/charcoal 2% 

Post-depositional Features: none apparent 

Basal Boundary: very unclear
