Unit description: This is a flot sample (sample 2) from Bin 6 in Bdg 5. it contains one large animal's rib, which is water-worn. One fragment, possibly long bone, is 3 cm long; one other is 2 cm; none of the others (all unidentifiable) reach 1cm. There are 24 of these, which is a bit less than the average for bin fills, and they all are worn and pellet-shaped. None of the bones are burnt or digested, although there is some mang. staining, which on such small bones may obscure the signs of these processes. There is slight weathering and battering, two or three pieces less so than others; but they are not noticeably mixed. The bones are generally uninformative, unfortunately.
