Discussion: This is second layer of topsoil from the 4th part of East Area, removed in order to reveal the underlying Neolithic and post-Neolithic features. The thickness of the layer varied. In NE and SE corner is 30 cm. In the center: 20 cm, while in SW corner: 14 cm and in NW corner: 25 cm. It was quite homogeneous and compact. 

Consistency: mixed (from soft to compact) 

Colour: mixed (but mostly gray) 

Texture: mixed (silty sand to silty clay) 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: none 

Post-depositional Features: animal burrows, roots 

Basal Boundary: arbitrary
