Discussion: Plaster lips up 10cm above level or brick-marks a boundary between spaces/ rooms. The area over which it lips was cut by Mellaart although he records a crawl hole in this place.

Definition: North wall 401, south wall 401-edge of a cut into wall. West space 159, east space in northern end of wall 401

Consistency: Compact and dry but brittle and smooth

Texture: (Very dry) possibly clayey silt
Bedding: Very dry so difficult to see any layers-looks massive so may be one plastering event

Basal Boundary: Abrubt (brick)-stepped. Partly on edge of wall and partly on an underlying dark brown brick
